Movintuit

For Patients

These workshops are designed for anyone interested in cultivating more awareness of the mind-body connection. Neel has taught these workshops in various formats since 2017 in California, Washington, and abroad in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel. After a 2-year hiatus, Neel is excited to relaunch the workshop series locally here in Redding, California.

With each workshop emphasizing certain thematic elements, it’ll be a dynamic and new experience each time. Some foundational elements will stay consistent: understanding the body, establishing and maintaining mind-body connection, and learning movements and methods for pain relief and increased mobility. This is appropriate for existing and prospective patients of Dr. Neel, those currently in pain and seeking relief, those who want to prevent patterns of pain and discomfort, those who desire to be less dependent on health care services and therapies, and those yearning for more ways to enhance self-healing mechanisms.

For Practitioners

These workshops are designed for health and fitness professionals who desire to learn this practice both for self-enrichment and for the purpose of teaching others. Since the initial launch of Movintuit, Neel has received many requests from fellow bodyworkers and healthcare practitioners to conduct this type of training. While this content is new and will be more specialized, it’ll also include the foundational elements from the general access workshop.

In addition to those elements, it’ll include overviews of anatomy and physiology, activations for elevating felt sense and body awareness, and analytical and observational skills for guiding others through intuitive movement explorations. While it is geared towards those with advanced education and understanding of the body, an emphasis will be placed on experiential training (versus academic-style instruction). This is appropriate for (but not limited to) bodyworkers, massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, naturopaths, nutritionists, physicians, dance instructors, pilates teachers, yoga instructors, counselors, therapists, personal trainers, and coaches.
