Dr. Neel is a holistic chiropractor, bodyworker, movement teacher, podcaster, and philosopher. He utilizes systems thinking in a field he developed called Integrative Airway & Feeding Chiropractic. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008, and in 2016, he trained in the Gillespie Approach/Craniosacral Fascial Dental Therapy, and took the course from Barry Gillespie. He launched an intuitive movement practice in 2017 called Movintuit. He began teaching other bodyworkers and birth workers his holistic approach to aiding in the freeing of tethered oral tissues in 2021, and in 2022, he launched a technique called Stomatognathic Oscillatory Fascial Touch Technique (S.o.f.t. Technique).
Dr. Neel thrives at being involved in collaborative care with other healthcare practitioners. He currently collaborates with many midwives, doulas, nurses, physicians, nutritionists, lactation consultants, dentists, ENTs. chiropractors, naturopaths, and massage therapists. He's often a go-to provider for pre- and post-op bodywork for patients undergoing frenectomies and frenuloplasties. He has helped many moms breastfeed with more ease, less pain, and more success by utilizing his knowledge of freeing tension associated with oral ties. Dr. Neel also sees many children and adults who suffer from issues related to tethered oral tissues: feeding, airway, digestion, sleep, and TMJ issues.
He practices in Redding, California and often functions as a point person for cases related to tethered oral tissues. He offers guided releases where he works alongside release providers to do bodywork before, during, and after procedures as needed.
Dr. Neel collaborates with Dr. Rachel Barnhart, DDS in Redding and Dr. Soroush Zaghi at his Bay Area office to co-consult patients, offer guidance and bodywork in office, and he also sees some of those patients for pre- and post-op bodywork for functional frenuloplasties.
In addition to his patient care, Dr. Neel offers virtual sessions as well as consults for practices and teams. He has begun helping practices establish a solid infrastructure for guided releases, or for those more involved in palate expansion and/or jaw surgeries, he offers guidance on how to implement a broad range of bodywork modalities and advises on syntax and appropriateness of the overall game plan.

This is for anyone in health care currently working with patients with oral ties or those who desire to be involved in this rapidly growing field. Whether you’re a massage therapist, bodyworker, myofunctional therapist, physical therapist, chiropractor, naturopath, osteopath, dental professional, ENT professional, speech therapist, sensory-processing therapist, or anyone in the birth worker field (doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, obstetricians, nurses), this workshop can benefit you greatly. If you want to draft on Dr. Neel’s collaborative relationships with Tongue-Tie professionals (locally, statewide, and internationally), I highly recommend attending this workshop.
No, this is for anyone interested in learning more about this field and desiring to be better positioned to discuss it with peers and patients. Certain portions will be geared towards those with specialized training in issues accompanying tongue ties — Craniosacral Therapists, Craniosacral Fascial Therapists/Gillespie Approach, myofunctional therapists, Rolfers, and chiropractors/osteopaths. For those hands-on practitioners, advanced techniques will be more readily grasped and ascertained and, of course, implemented; however, it’s advantageous for all involved in this field to observe healing modalities that can broaden and deepen our collective understanding in helping this seemingly-growing subset of the population.
In his collaborative approach with Tongue-Tie providers in Redding (and in other areas of California) and through the process of having 3 children with oral ties, Dr. Neel has identified patterns that accompany patients with tongue ties — from those in cranial and spinal misalignments to those in body-wide myofascial (soft tissue) restrictions and even those related to nutritional deficiencies and environmental toxicities. Through hands-on care with many patients in the last 5 years and his research and cross-referral work with professionals in related fields of dentistry, otolaryngology, osteopathy, myofunctional therapy, and frequency medicine, Dr. Neel has systematized a protocol for facilitating the improvement of mobility and function in patients with oral ties.
This is a 4-hour workshop. The fee is $400. Location TBD. Click “ENROLL” to see our upcoming classes.
